Most movies today are crap. And I still love them. But the "golden age" of Hollywood, that was when movies didn't have to deal with things like cynicism. Movies were made for sheer entertainment value. I love all types of classic movies: my favorite being period epics, but I will also talk about classic musicals, comedies, action/adventure and noir. Some of these movies are still famous today, and rightly so. Others have been forgotten. Here is where both will get equal treatment.
I'm originally from Philadelphia, now living in New York. I am now working for Sony Pictures Classics, as their Online Marketing Coordinator. I spend most of time watching and engaging in movies and sports.
Hello to all. I haven't decided how I am going to format this blog, if I am going to write about a different classic movie each day, week, or whenever my mood suits it. But when coming here you can count on one thing: love of classical Hollywood cinema. I hope that you find this blog insightful, informative, and fun. After all, I don't think you would be checking it if you didn't already know what the name represents.
